I have read and understand the information in this syllabus.  I commit to trying, to the best of my ability to complete the assignments laid out above and ask for assistance from my instructor when I need it.  I understand that I am expected to complete my assignments on time, in a thorough, thoughtful and complete manner, and participate in class regularly.  Conversely, I understand that failing to complete my assignments on time in a thorough, thoughtful and complete manner, and failing to participate in class, will result in an unsatisfactory grade.
